The Gender Issues Monthly Monitor documents newsworthy events related to gender issues in Africa, comprehensively covering the continent, country-by-country. The publication provides insight and a succinct overview of all developments related to gender-issues across the African continent. Some of the issues addressed include gender-based violence (GBV), HIV & AIDS, female genital cutting and mutilation (FGM/C), development and rights.

The Gender Issues Monthly Monitor is housed in Consultancy Africa Intelligence’s Gender Issues Unit, which strives to be the definitive portal for information and intelligence on all gender-related developments across the African continent. The unit aims to provide clients with up-to-date information and new perspectives in all fields related to gender issues in Africa, and also serves to celebrate and illuminate the many instances in which the African continent strives forward in upholding gender equality and human rights.
